Contracts and injuries
Contracts, payroll and injuries all affect who you can put on the field. Keep track of the roster during the season and get it ready for the next one.

The budget
Decide how much to put into training, facilities and the stadium. That money has to come out of the same budget as everything else.

Follow the simulated games through play-by-play, league news and commentary, then see how your team did.

The front office
The newer budget view spells out the season-opening bill, when it is due, and what should be left afterward. Those are the numbers I need when I’m deciding what the team can afford.

Player creation only gets me so far. The roster screen has to make the lineup, bench and salary cap easy to check while I’m working on the team.

The planned career lasts 50 seasons. New Game+ lets you choose a successor when your coach retires and carry on with the same team.
The team's stats, records, trophies and season archives stay with the franchise.
